Is your alarm system functioning properly?

Just like a car, your security system needs regular maintenance checks to ensure it stays in optimum running order. Security detectors collect dust and cob webs, wires connected to security devices become damaged and batteries run down. Australian Standards (AS/NZS 2201.1:2007) recommends that you have a maintenance check on your security system at least once every year.

 

We can arrange for a maintenance check to be carried out by a professional technician to ensure your alarm remains in proper working order and at the same time make recommendations for any alterations that would improve performance and reduce your risk.

 

 The maintenance check includes:

  • Testing of the control panel for communications to the monitoring centre, sirens, tampers and strobe lights

  • Inspecting and testing the operation of all detection devices

  • Checking the power supply and standby battery

  • Verifying that no compromise to devices has occurred (compromise of devices could be from building alterations, partitions, furniture or other obstacles)

  • Testing the batteries on remotes and wireless sensors

  • Inspection of all visible wiring and conduits

Our Grade 2 Monitoring Centre has been in business supplying monitoring services since 1997. We provide monitoring to bureaus / installers Australia wide and you can be assured that all information supplied to us will be kept confidential. Information will not be released to any other Third Parties without prior authorisation.

Not only do our operators respond to alarm events, they receive customer service training, troubleshooting skills to assist customers with alarm problems and training in the various monitoring and communications equipment that we use.

 

We assist the ongoing support and development of our operators by providing an initial training period followed up by any supplemental training in addition to our yearly refresher assessments.

 

All our staff are required to undergo a state police check, and hold, or are undergoing security licence accreditation (relevant to State Legislation).This ensures that our staff are of the highest caliber in the industry.
